The boys 7th Grade White basketball team improved their season record to 5-3 after a 43-26 win against Grandville. After trailing by 7 points to end the first quarter, the Rockets redeemed themselves by outscoring Grandville 14-0 in the second quarter. Following halftime, the Rockets took the court by storm which eventually led to a 21-point lead. Playing stellar defense was Jezsiah Sims who also ignited the crowd with a fancy highlight pass to D’Andre Williams who also led the team with 12 points. Making their presence known in the post was Braden Wagner and Gage Hopkins while Trent Reichert hustled on both ends of the floor. Ethan Winters also chipped in by knocking down a couple of 3-point shots to keep the Rockets scoring alive the team will be back in action Tuesday, December 4 against Hudsonville.
