WEST OTTAWA: 20
The 7th grade White basketball team were able to improve their team record to 4-1 after a 39-20 win over West Ottawa. After a slow first half start, the Rockets came out hot in the second half out-scoring their opponent 14-5 in the 3rd quarter while also holding West Ottawa to 10 second half points. Playing well defensively for the Rockets was Jezsiah Sims while Gage Hopkins was a strong presence in the post. The Rockets will travel next Tuesday to take on the Wildcats from Jenison.
