Coach Pallett’s 8th grade team traveled to Muskegon last night and played their hearts out. The team trailed 16-9 after the first quarter then battled Muskegon the rest of the way. The team took the lead several times throughout the game. Muskegon tied the game up with 15 seconds to go and the Rockets were not able to convert at the buzzer. The team was then outscored in overtime as Muskegon prevailed 53-49. It was an exciting game and the school should be very proud of the way the team played against a good Muskegon team. Coach Pallett’s team travels to East Kentwood on Thursday. Leading Scorers: Tayte Vanderleest - 6 points, Logan Laderoot - 7 points, Clyde Bartee - 7 points, Cade Borgeson - 12 points, Kyle Schlaff - 15 points
