The 8th grade Lady Rockets took home another victory last night against Grand Haven Blue. Sophia Hekkema was a strong asset in Game 1, putting up some strong serves and showing some tough offense against the Buccaneers. Grand Haven pulled ahead at the end of the game and took home the first win with a score of 25-15. Reeths-Puffer came back hard in Game 2, winning with a score of 25-22. Billie Tryska and Alex Shockley both served hard for the Rockets, contributing 3 aces each and Evelyn Darland played some tough defense at the net. Game 3 came down to the wire and the Rockets battled back and forth for serve. They eventually pulled out ahead, with the help of Lauren Nelson behind the service line. The girls won the third game with a score of 15-13. Way to go, Rockets!
