GRAND HAVEN MIDDLE SCHOOL: 12
The 8th grade football team battled to victory last night against Grand Haven with a 13-12 win. Scoring for the Rockets in the 1st quarter was Deandre Brown on an 8 yard run. The team battled back and forth most of the game tied 6-6. In the 4th quarter Grand Haven went up 12-6. With 40 seconds left in the game Brady Ross hit Carson Harwood on a 40 yard touchdown pass to tie it up at 12-12. Justyn Clark scored the extra point to put the Rockets up 13-12 for the victory. GREAT JOB guys! Congrats on your 1-0 start to your season!
